How it all started...
Don Andre Milwood has been dedicated to music education since 2015, when he began teaching drums, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, and piano at Harrigans Music School. In 2018, he joined Home Grown Music Academy, sharing his expertise with budding musicians and inspiring a love for music across various instruments.
Starting the Music School...
On April 9th, 2018, Don Andre took a major step forward by founding DonMan’s School of Music in Church of God of Holliness, East End, which now serves students who live predominantly in the eastern community.
This institution has become a beloved part of the community, providing comprehensive music education to students of all ages. I have since relocated to Pahram Town East End to continue my music teaching endeavors.
Furthering his education
In 2022, Don Andre graduated with a BA Honours in Music Performance & Education from Leeds Conservatoire in the UK, further refining his teaching approach and musical knowledge. Today, he also serves as a music teacher for the Government of the Virgin Islands, contributing to the local education system and enriching the arts in the Virgin Islands.
Beyond the music...
Beyond music, Don Andre is passionate about environmental sustainability. As the owner and manager of Virgin Islands Recycling Services, he is committed to creating a greener, cleaner, and healthier Virgin Islands for future generations.
